Our Pastor

Pastor Eric A. Ramsey, is an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. He is a native of Sumter, South Carolina. and a graduate of Erskine Theological Seminary, Dew West, South Carolina with a Masters of Divinity. He strongly believes in focusing on faith, edifying Christian believers and building stronger Biblical families. Additionally, he believes that community involvement is an essential element in which to build a scents of trust.

Pastor Ramsey was appointed the proud Pastor of Pine Hill on November 13, 2015 by the Presiding Prelate Bishop Richard Franklin Norris. During his years of service to the people and community of Pine Hill, with the guidance of Presiding Prelate Bishop Samuel L. Green Sr., Pine Hill was able to payoff a long standing mortgage.

Pastor Ramsey's motto is, "If God Brought You To It, He Will Bring You Through It." Pastor Ramsey's favorite scripture is ​"Humble yourselves therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time." 1 Peter 5:6 (NIV)

Pastor Ramsey is married to the love of his life, Angela D. Ramsey. With this union he was blessed with two sons; Robert and Rodric and with two wonderful grandchildren, Robert (RJ) & Brielle Andrews.
